Fashion, Cosmetic, Fragrance Product Knowledge

FabricThis course classifies and analyzes the materials used in apparel construction, accessories and also the ingredients (both natural and synthetic raw materials) used in the production of cosmetics and fragrances. It is designed to examine the various stages of the manufacturing processes and its impact on the price/quality relationship. This course builds the product content knowledge that is fundamental to developing fashion and cosmetics industry expertise.

REFLECTION

Students learn through first-hand experience with fashion, cosmetic, and fragrance product samples and examples. Classroom activities are designed so students learn detailed information and think critically about apparel and accessories construction and cosmetic product development. From measuring the body, creating detailed product style specifications, building swatch books analyzing and classifying textiles, to testing batch samples for cosmetic products, students are always on the move!
