Happy to share that I am a member of the Learning Management System (LMS) Steering Committee organized through The Centre for Teaching and Learning at Humber College. This initiative will shape the future digital tools and supports that are essential in enabling an exceptional student learning experience. Further, the LMS Quest supports key priorities and goals related to our “SUSTAINED FOCUS ON TEACHING & LEARNING” found in Humber College’s Strategic Plan and newly developed Academic Plan.
One of the core elements of my personal teaching and learning philosophy includes the integration of technology in the learning experience. Over the next two years we will be formally reviewing, evaluating, piloting, and implementing the LMS. I see having a central role in the LMS selection and implementation process as a valuable way that I can contribute to Humber stakeholders.
